Ewing Sarcoma with Ganglion Cells Post-Chemotherapy: A Case Report with Review of Literature

چکیده

Ewing sarcoma arises in both bones (most common) and soft tissues it commonly affects young adults. The tumor is composed of small round cells showing positivity for CD99 FLI1 on immunohistochemistry (IHC). We describe ganglion cell differentiation post-chemotherapy which a rare phenomenon. A 13-year-old girl presented with chest wall mass. On biopsy correlating IHC, the diagnosis was rendered as sarcoma. She underwent neoadjuvant chemotherapy followed by resection tumor. microscopic evaluation, showed prominent ganglionic expression neuronal markers. Although maturation an established finding better prognosis other primitive pediatric tumors, such neural only few case reports post- pre-chemotherapy. Clinical significance appear to be are not yet needs elucidated.
